This aluminum drop down wheelchair ramp is only one example of how Red River Precision Mfg., Inc. has shown its expertise for delivering superior quality parts to the automotive industry - on budget, on spec, and under tight deadlines. Our machining team, trained to use our sophisticated metal fabrication equipment for optimal performance, worked off a customer-supplied 2D CAD drawing to devise the shearing, water jet cutting, forming, and welding operations needed to cost-effectively machine 200 units of this ramp within a tight 3-week deadline.

Constructed of 3 mm-thick 5052 aluminum, and with overall measurements of 386 mm x 495 mm, this wheelchair ramp was sanded to the desired finish and dimensionally inspected to ensure it was within the tight ±.015” tolerance specified by the customer and crucial to the safety of its operation. Palletized and ready for shipment, the wheelchair ramps arrived at the customer location right on time and ready for them to install in their vehicles.
